A friendly greeting from Chiloé

Our dear friend Sandra Naiman sent us this video with a kind message for everyone who has visited or plans to visit the beautiful island of Quinchao to get to know her farm, her home, her animals and along the way, learn a bit about traditional Chilote agriculture.

In a previous article, we told you the story of Sandra Naiman, an exceptional woman who lives on the island of Quinchao, in the archipelago of Chiloé, and works her farm using only traditional methods which she teaches, with much joy, to those who visit her.  It is indeed a very special experience which tourists from around the world can experience, taking with them incredible memories and knowledge from their time spent in this remote place in Chile.

On this occasion, Sandra has sent us a video from her house, letting us know that she is doing well, working her farm as usual and very excited to be able to welcome guests into her home again.  “The people of Chiloé are preparing for this day to arrive.  We are taking all of the necessary precautions,” she says.
