We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well during these complicated times. Here in Chile, we were looking forward to opening our hotels, and welcoming our guests when the borders opened to international visitors.
However, currently there are strict controls and entry requirements for all travellers, including negative PCR tests, mandatory quarantine and obligatory “sanitary passports” to travel within the regions. Right now, there is no indication as to when the restrictions will be lifted and people will be able to travel freely.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our staff and guests, as well as that of the communities surrounding our lodges.
Due to the uncertainty in the region and all the additional restrictions which are outside of our control, we believe that the most responsible way forward is to remain closed for this season and we plan to re-open when it is safe to operate.
We thank you for all your ongoing support and we are sure that as the vaccination process advances, we will move towards overcoming this pandemic. We will be waiting for you, your family and friends when it is possible to travel safely, and we look forward to being able to welcome you and to extend warm and exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences.

New opening dates
We are currently scheduled to open Tierra Atacama on September 3rd, and will be excited to welcome you then!
Tierra Patagonia is due to open on October 1st and we are now taking bookings for the 21-22 season. We have maintained our rates and have some great promotions available to give you even better value.
We aim to open Tierra Chiloé on November 1st, and are closely monitoring developments and are working with the local, regional and national authorities, in order to be able to deliver accurate information to our future guests.
Health & Safety
We have designed a new standard of hygiene protocols and health and safety measures, designed to keep our staff and guests safe, comfortable and truly cared for, while they enjoy the remoteness and wide-open spaces that surround our hotels. We now require only 10% of the value of your stay to guarantee your booking, and the balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. You can cancel any time before the 30 day deadline, and we will refund you in full. Find the full details here.
