Regenerate with the energy of the desert

Diego Salas

One of the lasting images which stay with those who visit Tierra Atacama, is the awesome view of the Licancabur Volcano. From different spaces within the hotel you can see this enormous mountain, which has watched over the driest desert in the world from time immemorial, gifting moments of deep rest and connection with nature from afar.

For Claudia Labbé, Guest Relations Manager of Tierra Atacama, the desert is an excellent place to relax, and at the same time, to enjoy incredible scenery. “whether you are out on an excursion, or enjoying the spaces inside the hotel, you are always aware of the energy of this amazing place” she explains.

“For example, after a hike in the Devil’s Canyon, and enjoying the amazing views of the Salt Mountain range, guests can return to the hotel and enjoy a spa treatment” says Claudia.

Massages, facials and open-air yoga sessions are some of the activities available to help regenerate energies and leave guests completely renovated with the magic of the desert’s energy. The food is also from the local area, serving homegrown produce to nourish and provide harmony and balance.

San Pedro de Atacama is an incredible place set in the Chilean “altiplano” or high plateau, with lots of amazing sites that visitors can discover with us, creating memories to treasure. “We are prepared with new safety protocols and have everything you need both in the hotel and on the excursions, so that all you need to do is simply enjoy the experience” says Claudia. “Sending hugs and we hope to see you soon”
