Along with the rest of the world, we are still adapting on a daily basis to the new challenges which the Covid-19 pandemic has generated. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well during these complicated times.
Like other hotels, we closed our doors earlier than usual due to the effects of the virus and the closing of borders. However, nothing lasts forever, so we are using this time to plan for the new season in the hope that we will be able to re-open before too long. Here is our latest update on the situation, and information to help you plan for a future stay with us.
The wellbeing and safety of our staff is and always has been a top priority, and to ensure this, we are working from home.
You can contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reply to you as soon as we can. Normal office hours are 9am-6pm local time Monday to Friday. We have a new chat feature on our web page, where our team are available for immediate updates during working hours, and our 800 numbers for different countries around the world are still operating with voicemail available when we’re not able to reply immediately.
Health & Safety
We’re working on a new standard of hygiene protocols and health and safety measures, designed to keep our staff and guests safe, comfortable and truly cared for, while they enjoy the remoteness and wide-open spaces that surround our hotels. When you’re ready to start planning your next adventure, we’ve made it as easy as possible, with a minimal deposit and full flexibility on date changes with no penalty.
You can book with us with full confidence We now require only 10% of the value of your stay to guarantee your booking, and the balance is due 30 days before you are due to travel. You can cancel any time before the 30 day deadline, and we will refund you in full.
The following booking conditions are applicable for new reservations for the 20-21 season for travel until 30th April 2021:
- Cancellations 30 days or more before arrival date; No charge
- Cancellations 15 – 29 days before arrival date; 25% cancellation fee, or change the date of travel within the same season at no extra charge*.
- Cancellation 14-0 days before arrival date; 100% cancellation fee, or change the date of travel within the same season at no extra charge.
*fees may apply where rates change between seasons.
New opening dates
Right now, the Chilean border is still closed to international travelers and it is difficult to be certain of long term events as things remain in a constant state of flux. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our staff and guests, as well as that of the communities surrounding our lodges.
We are closely monitoring developments and are in close contact with the local, regional and national authorities, in order to be able to deliver accurate information to our future guests. We are also looking after our staff and their families in these difficult times, as they are a key part of the Tierra experience.
We are currently scheduled to open all three hotels on December 14th, and will be excited to welcome you then! Of course, all this depends on how the situation develops, and we will be here to support you as we move forward. We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones soon, to one of our Tierra hotels, for a well-deserved vacation!
